

Shona Lindsay
Shona made her professional debut at the age of twelve in the title role of Annie and went on to play numerous children's roles in both theatre and television including playing the role of Barbara Boyer in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole and The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole for Thames Television. She left school to join the company of Crossroads for Central TV, playing the role of Sara Briggs for two years and in 1990 Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her as Christine in The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre and Shona became the youngest actress in the world to play this role.
She has gone on to become one of the West End’s most sought after leading ladies with roles including: Milly in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; Sandy in Grease; Gilmer in Godspell. Shona created her role in the West End premiere of the 4 hander I Love You You're Perfect Now; Madge in Top Hat; Baroness Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music; Marge Houseman in Dirty Dancing; Rose Vibert in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love; Roxie Hart in Chicago; Anna Leonowens in The King & I; Doris in Same Time Next Year Kathy Seldon in Singin' In The Rain; Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde and many more as well as numerous guest roles on TV from Doctors, Casualty, The Ritz, Mother’s Ruin etc
Over the past 10 years Shona has successfully diversified into the world of presenting and is seen daily on your screens hosting for channels Seen On TV, Must Have Ideas, Ideal World, Shop On TV and QVC alongside hosting events nationally and internationally from the Royal British Legion’s Remembrance Service for 25 years since the end of the Kosovo War to the RLI Global Awards.
Shona sings around the world with symphony orchestras and regular listeners to radio will know her from her many appearances on Friday Night is Music Night and for the BBC Radio 2 series as Young Sally in Follies, A Chorus Line, The Dancing Years Call Me Madam etc.
