Gayle is best known as Shieldinch’s razor sharp, quick witted landlady Caitlin in River City where she has been a long running member of the show for the past 8 years moving from one explosive storyline to another. Her dad is her uncle and her grandson is her half brother. That’s what EXPLOSIVE means. If you know, you know!
Although she is an actress of stage and screen she often dabbles in the camaraderie of events being a self professed funny wummin with too much to say for herself, we all know one! She loves nothing more than being the hostess with the mostess and chanting a few songs at the end of a good night. A well know lassie in Scotland for her ginger hair and dirty cackle - they’re a dying breed!
Having too much to say for herself hasn’t held her back in any way and has been known to co host greatest hits breakfast show with Ewen Cameron giving him a run for his money and banter aplenty. It’s a special skill set!
Gayle is also one half of the smash hit comedy duo THE DOLLS who tour all over Scotland and have broken box office records while doing it. The DOLLS are a phenomenon. If you haven’t seen them, GO!!
